Animals First

We are a small group who believes whole heartedly in the dogs we rescue. We have a very stringent training program, something like a boot camp. These dogs are working dogs and appreciate something to do, a task or a job.

We start out by having the dog temperament tested by one of our trusted trainers. The next step is to crate train our new friend and introduce him to a new diet. We are very specific about the food we feed the animals. Some of the popular televised brands of cat and dog food are made from euthanized animals and cancerous organs. We don't want our guys subsisting on their old neighbors at the pound, so we make sure the foods we select for them to eat is made of human quality products, the same kinds of food we would feed our own families.

Every Reunion dog was headed for death row. We believe in each of them and that is why every dog we have rescued is either in a great home being with his wonderful loving family or waiting for a family to find him or her. We ask each adopting family to carry on the Reunion Rescue tradition of good training, good food and most of all, lots and lots of good, good loving. It works. Just ask any Reunion dog and they'll let you know.

This is Patch.

Patch was killed at SFACC for no reason. She was sweet, passed all her temperament and had a home.

This page is dedicated to Patch and all of the dogs like her who are being routinely killed for no reason in the bay area. We will not slow down our mission until the killing is stopped.
